My name is Xiaojun Li (cindylixj@yahoo.com.cn), M.A., a lecturer and doctoral candidate at the Center on Ideological and Political Education in Northeast Normal University, China. I used to be an English and head teacher in the High School attached to Northeast Normal University, one of the best high schools in China, and practiced moral education in the front line. My research interests include international and comparative education, moral and citizenship education. Currently I am carrying out research on value construction and character education with adolescents, especially focusing on high school students.
